Coronavirus Update

To our Patients & Friends,

Dyras Dental has made changes to our protocols and protective equipment to protect everyone during this pandemic. One of our core values is to have a healthy work environment where patients can feel at ease. We have always practiced with our patient’s and staff’s safety in mind and will continue to go above and beyond.

As of today, we are not aware of any cases where Covid-19 was transmitted within a dental office setting. The American Dental Association has put out this statement in regards to the pandemic: “Dentistry is essential health care because of its role in evaluation, diagnosing, preventing or treating oral diseases which can affect systemic health.” Because Covid-19 causes damage by creating inflammation, it is essential that we manage any inflammation in the mouth to limit its potential impact.

We have minimized aerosols in our operatories by upgrading our suction systems and using a high-volume suction whenever aerosols are being created. We have also placed air filtration systems in each treatment room that completely clean the air in that room every 15 minutes. Our staff is wearing additional protective equipment like face shields, surgical gowns, and surgical caps. We are also asking patients to wait in their cars rather than the waiting room to limit exposure to other patients. We will continue to go above and beyond to keep everyone safe so that you can get the dental care that you need and deserve.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.
